Zunheboto, June 16 (MExN): Advisor for Land Resource and Zunheboto DPDB chairman, G Ikuto Zhimomi has requested the people not to blame or criticize Nagaland Staff Selection Board (NSSB) or Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC).
Addressing the Zunheboto DPDB meeting on June 16, the chairman said it was the need and demand of the people to ban random appointments and set up an NSSB, stated a DIPR report. “The government has accepted and has set up an NSSB,” he stated with request to the people “not to blame or criticize NSSB or NPSC but rather encourage their children to study hard and crack these exams if they want a government job.”
In his opening remark, the chairman applauded the PHED department for carrying out the Jal Jevan Abhiyan scheme successfully. He applauded the DC and SP team for the timely intervention and containing the recently unfortunate incident in Zunheboto.
The chairman also requested all the HODs to be in station and sever the public sincerely. He advised them create awareness about the various schemes and projects like Ayushman Bharat, eSharam, CMHIS, CM Micro finance schemes etc.
Further, he urged the Land Resource Department to encourage coffee plantation among the people and educate them about preserving its quality, how to export it as Nagaland coffee is also rated as best amount the world.
Agendas discussed was upgradation of Little Spring School at Alahuto colony to class 8 and on this agenda the department i.e. SDEO Zunheboto informed that the department has verified and that it was found to be very satisfactory and so requested the house for upgradation and the house agreed to be sent for upgradation to the higher authority.
Second agenda discussed was setting up of sub center at Aquba village, and upon discussion it was deferred to next meeting.
Zunheboto DC and vice chairman, Zunheboto DPDB Rahul Bhanudas Mali, IAS chaired the meeting. The DC has informed all the HODs to give in written about their departments various activities along with photographs to be included in DPDB booklet.
