Medical officials and public leaders during the inauguration of the new Sub Centre in Asukiqa, Zunheboto on August 9.
Zunheboto, August 10 (MExN): The new Asukiqa Sub Centre was inaugurated by Dr C W Tungoe, CMO, Zunheboto on August 9. The new sub centre covers Asukiqa, Ghokimi, Kitami, Tsaphimi and Puneboqa villages.
A press release issued stated that in his inaugural speech, Dr CW Tungoe, CMO, Zunheboto expressed that through this new Sub Centre building, the department is hopeful that the community of this area will be benefitted immensely so far as health sector is concerned. He urged the community to develop a working atmosphere and be sincere. He also spoke on the importance of communitization.
The inauguration programme was chaired by Vihose Assumi, Chairman, VHC. Invocation was pronounced by Rev S Kiheto, Pastor, Ghokimi Baptist Church. Short speech was delivered by Hokuto, Contractor. Welcome address was given by Khuwoto Swu, Chairman, Asukiqa Area Joint Council, (AAJC) and vote of thanks was delivered by Johan, GB, Gokhimi.
The CMO, Zunheboto was accompanied by Dr G Akaho Sema, Dy. CMO; Dr Alemwabang Aier, DPO (RCH & UIP); Dr G Viholi Sema, DTO-RNTCP; Dr Phillip Kent, SMO, Pughoboto CHC; Dr Alvis, Hekuto, SMI (NVBDCP); Dr Zhekheli, Vitoli, DPM; Shekho Sophie, Media Officer; Nato, DAM, RNTCP, IEC bureau and Vihuto, BPM, Pughoboto block.
“The new Asukiqa SC land was donated free by Hetoi Swu, GB, Asukiqa village,” the release added.
