DIMAPUR: The Naga Students Federation (NSF) has demanded the submission of the investigations report from the concerned commission responsible for the probe on or before November 10 failing which the Federation warned that it would initiate its own course of action for which the Government itself would be held responsible for any eventuality.

In an ultimatum signed by President Pushika Aomi and General Secretary K Elu Ndang, and addressed to the Chief Secretary, Government of Nagaland, the Federation stated that the Presidential Council meeting held recently had unanimously resolved to demand the submission of the entire investigations report in regard to the developments in the aftermath of the NPSC bribery scandal. The NSF warned that it would resort to actions of its own as deemed fit, the consequences of which would be solely on the State Government. The Federation was appealing for immediate action, referring to the memorandum submitted to the Governor of Nagaland, dated May 7.

The apex Naga students’ organization rued that even after a lapse of several months the State Vigilance Commission had failed to produce tangible result in the investigations of the NPSC scandal, which the Federation had been anticipating as sincerity of the Government in resolving the impasse. “However our repeated appeals and reminders are not being responded to with seriousness” the ultimatum stated adding that the body on observing the ‘present trend’ had concluded that the investigations were being manipulated which was a denial of “just Justice”.
