SUD & ZCD call for meeting of two communities on June 15

Dimapur, June 7 (MExN): The Sangtam Union Dimapur (SUD) and Zeme Council Dimapur (ZCD) have taken serious note of law enforcing agencies not making any breakthrough in arresting culprits of the June 4 triple murder case in Dimapur. “The crimes and cold blooded murder cases taking place in Dimapur is a reflection of law and order breakdown. It also reminds the two communities of the past, as it was observed that in such cases of murder no arrest and action had been taken against the criminals,” stated a press release from SUD President, Er. YH Sangtam, and ZCD President, Ngauloibe John, following an emergency meeting of the two bodies held on Thursday. Having decided not to let the “innocence and patience” of the two communities be “subjugated further,” the SUD and ZCD have called for a general meeting of the two communities on June 15 at 10:00 am at DDSC stadium (Dimapur District Sports Complex). All males of 18 years and above of the two communities have been asked to attend the meeting clad in traditional attire without fail.
