Sufficient rice stock for Nagaland: FCI

DIMAPUR, MARCH 22 (MExN): The Regional office of the Food Corporation of India (FCI) has informed that sufficient stocks are available in central pool to meet the requirement of NFSA and other schemes of Government of India for the state of Nagaland.  In a press note, the FCI highlighted that as on March 21, 2024, approximately 55403 MT of FRK (fortified rice kernels) Rice is available against 15800 MT (approx) to be lifted during March 2024 in the central pool which is well above the buffer norms/ operational requirement.
