Dimapur, October 12 (MExN): The Sümi Baptist Convention (SBC) will be celebrating its silver jubilee from October 14 to 16 at Trinity Theological College campus under the theme ‘Together We Serve’ and it will be hosted by WSBAK.
Jubilee message will be brought by former directors and present SBC Director. Goodwill message and exhortations will be brought by Pukhayi Assumi, Parliamentary Secretary, Soil and Water Conservation, Tovihoto Ayemi, Chairman NIDC and Y. Kikheto Sema IAS, Secretary, Land Resources.
The first Director of SBC was Rev. Dr. Hevkhu Achumi, followed by Rev. Dr. Vitoi Kappo, Rev. Dr. Kavito Zhimo, Rev. Dr. Phughoto Aye and the present Director is Rev. Dr. Khehovi A. Shohe and President is Ghovili Achumi, under whose leadership the SBC is celebrating its Silver Jubilee, informed a press release issued by SBC Jubilee Media Team.
The president and colleagues have extended invitation to pastor, associate pastor, a deacon and village chief from the three church associations viz Sümi Baptist Akukuhou Küqhakulu (SBAK), Sümi Aphuyemi Baptist Akukuhou Küqhakulu (SABAK) and Western Sümi Baptist Akukuhou Küqhakulu (WSBAK) to participate in the Jubilee conference.
Meawhile, the Media team also informs that a registration of Rs. 500 per delegates will be charged for the Jubilee magazine and conference kit. The host will provide food and lodge to all the delegates but requests to bring along light bed rolls.
