Zunheboto, June 8 (MExN): The Sümi Hoho annual session ‘Baghi Hoho 2018’ was held at Town Hall, Zunheboto on June 8. It was attended by Sumi legislators, delegates, Kukamis and village council chairman from all Sümi area representatives, and Town GBs of Zunheboto town.
During the session, a prayer ceremony was held to invoke blessing upon the Sümi legislators elected in the recent 13th Nagaland General Election 2018. Amongst the 11 Sümi legislators, the MP Lok Sabha, two ministers, five advisors and two opposition MLAs attended the prayer service, stated a press release received here.
Sümi Hoho, President, Hekhushe Shikhu in the welcome address urged them to work with sincerity and dedication for the Nagas. DC Hill Colony presented a special dedication song, while Rev. Yevito Zhimo, Sr. Pastor SBCZ invoked the session. Nikheto Jimomi read out the “Sümi Kukümüsü” to the gathering. Felicitations and cash reward to toppers and subject toppers of HSLC/HSSLC were also presented by Sümi Education Committee Chairman, Vihoshe Muru. He also read out the resolution passed by the Sümi Hoho to the unanimous approval of the gathering.
In conclusion, Sümi Hoho General Secretary Nikheto Jimomi read out the annual report, while Hokishe Arkha, former Sümi Hoho, President, pronounced the benediction.
