Sumi Hoho organised a felicitation programme for Sumi legislatures at Zunheboto town hall on April 28.
Zunheboto, April 28 (MExN): Organised by Sumi Hoho, a felicitation programme for the 14th NLA Sumi legislatures was held at Multipurpose Hall, Zunheboto on April 28.
Sumi Hoho in a press release stated that during the programme, Minister PHED Jacob Zhimomi lauded the seven legislatures from Zunheboto district for their efforts given and having improved the National Highway and said, “if all the legislatures are united then they can continue to work for the betterment of District Headquarters.”
He informed that the Government of India was working on tourism sector and “if lands are donated then the provisions for three-star hotel is ready.” He also informed that the Government of India is working on the regional Air connectivity and he has already spoken to the Government of India to set an air strip for mini airplanes in Zunheboto District.
Jacob also disclosed that “BJP Government is in the process of beautification and infrastructural development and Sumi Baptist Church Zunheboto under that scheme will be beautified.”
Sumi Kukami Hoho, President, Kashito Yepthomi in his greetings urged the Sumis to do away with nepotism and favoritism and urged them to stand for one another when in need and speak to leaders to help the person in need.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by Dr Vihuto Asumi General Secretary, Sumi Hoho, welcome address by I Nikheto Zhimomi, President Sumi Hoho and vote of thanks by Hokishe Kiba, Vice President Sumi Hoho, prayer of blessing for legislatures by Rev. Kughato Chophi, Executive Secretary, SBAK Nito Mount.
