Dimapur, July 15 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) Sumi National Workers Welfare (SNWW) has reaffirmed its support to the Framework Agreement (FA) signed between the Gol and the NSCN (IM) on August 3, 2015 at New Delhi. The SNWW resolved this during its meeting held at Noune Resort on July 14.

The house resolved to stand by the Collective Leadership headed by Q Tuccu, Chairman, NSCN (IM), Tongmeth Wangnao, Vice Chairman NSCN (IM) and Th Muivah General Secretary, NSCN (IM) for an honourable and acceptable political solution. It also resolved to stand united till the Indo-Naga political issue is settled, stated a press release issued by Qhetoyi A Swu, Secretary, SNWW.

Further, it resolved to stand by the government’s decision on lntangki Reserve Forest as Naga National Wildlife Sanctuary and clarified the “misconception that the Tangkhuls would be rehabilitated in the area which is completely false.”

It prayed that “God would give wisdom to the negotiating parties and to the Nagas to see and understand the truth, for it is only by the truth and by the power of the Holy Spirit the Nagas will be set free.”
