Maligaon, May 26 (MExN): To clear the extra rush of passengers, it has been decided to operate a summer special train between Katihar and Amritsar for six trips in both directions.
Accordingly, train no. 05734 (Katihar-Amritsar) Special will depart from Katihar at 07:50 hours on every Saturday from May 27 to July 1 to reach Amritsar at 19:30 hours on the next day. In return direction, train no. 05733 (Amritsar-Katihar) Special will depart from Amritsar at 08:45 hours on every Monday from May 29 to July 3 to reach Katihar at 18:20 hours on the next day.
During the both ways journey, the special train will run via Khagaria Jn., Muzaffarpur Jn., Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Delhi and Ludhiana stations. Consisting of 17 coaches, the train will have AC 3-tier Economy coaches for the passengers.
