Kohima, June 26 (MExN): The Suncity Kohima in collaboration with Professional Basketball & Football (PB&F) Sports Management has announced its first Summer Basketball Coaching Camp 2018 (Boys & Girls), to be held in Kohima from July 4 to July 15.
A press note from the Suncity Kohima General Secretary Thejanguzo Pienyü informed that the camp will be conducted for three categories: Sub-juniors (Under 14 years), Juniors (Under 18 years), and Open category (no age bar).
Residential facilities will be provided for campers from other districts, it said.
Renowned lady coach of UBA, Chennai Slam Coach and former Indian Women Basketball team captain, Prasanna Jyashankar, presently serving as a coach in Indian Railways, will be the head coach at the camp.
Apart from the coaching camp she will be scouting for talented Naga players for free scholarship programmes in some major universities of Tamil Nadu, it added.
The organisers also stated that students who recently cleared their HSLC/HSSLC & Graduates can participate in the camp and avail the opportunity.
Due to limited seats, admission will be on first come first serve basis and a registration fee will be charged. Certificates will be awarded to all the campers.
