Sunday in the park with Flynn!

Orlando Bloom hit Will Rogers State Park in Pacific Palisades, Calif. with his son Flynn, born Jan. 6. Bloom's wife, Victoria's Secret model Miranda Kerr, debuted the very first shots of their little guy last week on her Kora Organics blog. "I gave birth to him naturally, without any pain medication, and it was a long, arduous and difficult labour, but Orlando was with me the whole time supporting and guiding me through it," Kerr, 27, wrote of her man, 34. "I could not have done it without him."
Little Flynn, she added, is "our little ray of sunshine." Nameberry.com editors Pamela Satran and Linda Rosenkrantz explain: Flynn fits right into the current trend of Irish surnames for boys (following in the footsteps of Ryan and Riley) and names relative to the Fin- family. Flynn itself means "red-headed" in Gaelic and brings to mind the dashing swashbuckler Errol Flynn (who inspired the phrase "in like Flynn," and the more recent hero of Tangled, Rapunzel's rescuer, Flynn Rider).
