Zunheboto, December 6 (DIPR): The inaugural function of sports week for Sunday School was held on December 5 at local ground Zunheboto. The programme was organized by Department of Christian Education Sumi Baptist Church, Zunheboto. Director Christian Education SBAK, Tolibolibo, while delivering her speech exhorted the children to participate with the spirit of sportsmanship and encouraged them to nurture the talent. She also said while being sensitive in the academic studies, one should praise God in all their undertaking.
In the opening programme, Sumi Traditional folk song and dance were performed by Alohuto colony, which was followed by special song and choreography. The programme was chaired by Associate Pastor Youth Department, Zakali Muiu and the compares were Inato and Ayeho Sumi. The sports week will conclude on 8th December 2011.
