The training was held with a vision to guide Sunday School teachers to better understand a child with not just information but also guide and help them live a better Christian life, according to a press release received here.
Altogether, 34 Sunday School teachers and pre-school teachers registered for the training.
The two resource persons were Barbara Reugger, Advocate for Children at Risk and Britta Aonok, a trained Montessori Teacher, who are also part of the King’s Kids International (YWAM). The training stressed on topics such as Child Growth and Development, Attachment Disorder, Social Development of Children, Understanding and Dealing with Child Abuse and Creative story telling/teaching. Robert Longkumer, the Director and Founder of KWC, in the release mentioned that there will be a follow-up programme next year in the month of April, where more practical demonstration on creative teachings and Kids Praise & Worship will be focused.
