KOHIMA, NOVEMBER 10 (MExN): The Office of the Managing Director, Naga Hospital Authority Kohima informed that the Government of Nagaland in collaboration with Amrita Hospital will be providing super specialty clinical services at Naga Hospital Kohima (Teaching Hospital of NIMSR Kohima) from November 13 in the field of Cardiology, Nephrology, Oncology, Hepatology and Endocrinology.
The clinical services for Cardiology and Nephrology will be done on every 2nd Wednesday of the month and Oncology, Hepatology and Endocrinology on every Wednesday of the month at NHAK.
However, on November 13, only Nephrology and Oncology services will be available for consultation.
In addition, Continuing Medical Education (CME) sessions will also be conducted by the Amrita Hospital specialists for the local doctors and to facilitate upskilling of the local doctors, observership programmes with prior approval from the Government of Nagaland will also be provided.
Public have been informed to avail the specialized services on the days as mentioned. This was stated in a release issued by Dr M. Margaret Yhome, Medical Superintendent, Naga Hospital Authority Kohima.
