Meets BJP Karyakartas in Dimapur
Dimapur, January 23 (MExN): Nagaland Deputy Chief Minister and BJP Legislature Party (BLP) leader Y Patton, on Tuesday, urged BJP karyakartas (workers) to support the alliance candidate in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections as part of the agreement with the alliance partner, NDPP.
Addressing party office bearers and workers at Tourist Lodge Dimapur, he also expressed confidence that the BJP would come back to power with an absolute majority in the parliamentary election.
Patton has been assigned as the legislator incharge for Dimapur and Peren districts. According to a press release from Deputy CMO, during the meeting, he also encouraged the gathering to rededicate themselves to strengthening the party both at the state and national levels.
Patton assured to look into the difficulties faced by the party in the district and extended assistance for the proper upkeep of the party office, the release added.
Short speeches were also delivered by Shilukaba Longchar, State Secretary & Co-Incharge of Dimapur district BJP, and Yankithung Yanthan, State Vice President, and Incharge Of Dimapur District BJP.
