Dimapur, March 18 (MExN): Nagaland State BJP’s two-day Swachh Bharat Abhiyan programme with the National Convenor of Swachh Bharat Yashwant Singh Darbar, who will be visiting Nagaland from March 19 to 20 as part of his North East Swachh Bharat Abhiyan tour, has been rescheduled on the first day due to “unavoidable circumstances.”
Consequently, the inauguration function of the State’s Swachh Bharat office at NST Colony near City Tower, Dimapur has been pre-poned to 12:00 pm from 3:00 pm on March 19, informed a press release from BJP Nagaland State General Secretary, Jaangsillung Gonmei. Subsequently, the party meeting with the State Office Bearers, State Frontals and District Swachh Bharat Committees at Hotel Saramati will be held at 1:00 pm, it added.
Meanwhile, the venue of the interactive meeting with party workers, government officials and NGOs on March 20 at 1:30 pm after the morning’s Swachh Bharat Cleanliness Drive in two venues has also been changed to Tourist Lodge, Dimapur.
All the attendees have been requested to note the changes accordingly.
Meanwhile, the press release requested all the party workers and supporters to be a part of the Swachh Bharat Cleanliness Drive on the morning of March 20 from 6:00 am to 9:00 am in two venues – Dimapur Civil Hospital, which will be cleaned by a team comprising State BJMM, State Minority Morcha, State Kisan Morcha and BJP Dimapur, and Dimapur Commerce College area, which will be cleaned by a team of State BJYM and State ST Morcha.
In both the venues, all the representatives of District Swachh Bharat Committees and the State Office Bearers will also participate effectively and supervise the programme for its successful implementation, the release stated.
