Dimapur, April 22 (MExN): Swachhata Pakhwada (Cleanliness Fortnight) was observed all over Dimapur district in all the health units under Chief Medical Officer’s office from April 1 to 15. The campaign aimed to spread awareness on the importance of cleanliness. Social work and cleanliness drive were organised in all the health units and offices under CMO office, Dimapur during the fortnight, informed a press release.
CMO Dr. K Vikato Kinimi has urged all the health units to continue observing the monthly social work sincerely. He further reminded the staffs and health units to stay prepared for vector-borne and water-borne diseases and to educate the public on the importance of keeping the surrounding clean and dry.
