Lumami, September 30 (MExN): The Health Centre, Nagaland University, Lumami conducted the "Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan" at Lumami on September 30 with the objective of promoting the health and well-being of women and children.
The medical team was led by Dr Sungkum Jamir, Senior Medical Officer, two nursing officers, pharmacist and other supporting staff.
Services provided during the camp included general health check-ups, screening for non- communicable diseases and anaemia, basic laboratory tests including random blood sugar, HIV and free medicines.
Awareness sessions on oral health, nutrition, menstrual hygiene, immunization were also conducted during the camp.
