SymBios broadband service launched in Mokokchung

Morung Express News Mokokchung | June 3   Assuring that there will be no compromise on delivery of quality service, SymBios Creations Private Limited, the only internet service provider in Nagaland other than BSNL, launched its broadband internet service in Mokokchung today in a ‘soft launch’ ceremony at Elate Hall along with launching of digital television transition in Mokokchung. MCCI President, Tsükti Longkumer was present at the event.   Managing Director of SymBios Creations Pvt. Ltd., L. Mongkum Jamir said that his company does not advertise products and services they provide, but they “gain clients through quality service.” He also emphasized on the role internet plays in today’s world and reiterated SymBios does not compromise on quality. He also added that “competition is good for customers” and also invited “comments and critiques” to better serve customers.   Today’s launch was collaboration between three entities. SymBios, Dimapur based Global Chapter and Mokokchung Channel are the three entities that have partnered to provide the “Digital Cable TV and Internet Broadband Service” in Mokokchung. SymBios is said to have laid optic fibre cables for the purpose and will provide the internet service while Global Chapter and Mokokchung Channel will cater to the digital television subscribers in Dimapur and Mokokchung respectively.

  SymBios and Mokokchung Channel presented a digital TV set up box and an internet router to Mokokchung Chamber of Commerce and Industries (MCCI) for free to mark the ‘soft launch’. MCCI president Tsükti Longkumer appreciated the MD of SymBios for “looking back at Mokokchung” and taking the initiative to invest in and serve Mokokchung. Saying that MCCI exists primarily for the welfare and interests of the business community, Tsükti Longkumer added that MCCI is always ready to help the new venture if need be. He also noted that healthy competition in the market place is good for customers and hoped that quality of internet and digital TV services in Mokokchung would improve significantly. The ‘soft launch’ ceremony was chaired by I. Temsu Jamir of Mokokchung Channel.
