Peren, February 17 (MExN): A meeting on one day table-top exercise was held at Customary Court, ADC Office Jalukie on February 17. The meeting was chaired by Assistant Manager (M & PR) NSDMA, Keren Rose Koza, and was attended by Administrative Officers, HoOs, NDRF, and Police Personnel.
In the meeting, A DIPR report said that DDMA Peren DPA, Kedigong gave a brief highlight on the Incidence Response System (IRS) and also the role and responsibilities of different departments who would be taking part in the exercise on February 18. He informed the members that the staging area will be set up at GHSS ground, Jalukie, and at 11:00 am a siren will be sounded by Fire & Emergency Services after which briefing will be held at Customary Court, ADC Office Jalukie.
Keren Rose Koza, Assistant Manager (M&PR), NSDMA said the purpose of the mock exercise is to test the preparedness of the district in the event of disasters. She said the exercise is jointly being organized by NSDMA in collaboration with NDRF & SDRF. ADC Jalukie, Dr Tinojongshi Chang, NCS called upon the officers involved in the exercise to give their best for the successful conduct of the exercise. Others who spoke in the meeting included, Dy. Commandant 12th BN, NDRF, Abhinav Kayshap. Later, an interaction session was also held where doubts were clarified.
