Taekwondo training for teachers concludes

Kohima, April 21 (MExN): The 2nd phase of the RMSA self-defense martial arts training (2017-18) session in taekwondo ended on April 19 at the IG Stadium, Kohima. It was conducted by Nagaland Taekwondo Association (NTA).  

Speaking at the closing program, NTA president Pele Khezhie urged upon the teachers to spread taekwondo in their respective schools and districts, informed a press release from NTA Media Cell.  

On behalf of the teachers, Carolyn from GHSS Longleng assured that the teachers will try their best to promote the art, the release added.  

The best trainee award in the men’s category went to Yasangthu (Phek), while in the women’s category, the award went to Thsadongla Sangtam (Kiphire). The Most Energetic Trainee (Boys) award was given to T. Thronghokiu (Kiphire) and the Most Energetic Trainee (Girls) award was won by Loshevi X Achumi (Tuensang).  

Altogether, 45 teachers from Phek, Mon, Longleng, Kiphire, Tuensang, Zunheboto, Peren and Wokha attended the training in the 2nd phase.
