Audition for ‘Ticket to Hornbill’ and ‘Nagaland Choir Olympics’ soon
The Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA) is inviting bands and choirs from Nagaland to the audition for the “Ticket to Hornbill” and “Nagaland choir Olympics.”
Ticket to Hornbill
The band audition will be held on September 27.
Each band is to present a song of their choice (cover/original) and should be in English.
Sound system and Drum set will be provided. All other personal gears have to be brought by the musicians.
Winners from each district will be invited to perform at the Great Hornbill Rock, Hornbill Music Festival, 2019.
The bands have been asked to submit their names to their respective district event managers on or before September 20.
Nagaland Choir Olympics
The Choir auditions will be held on September 27 along with the band audition or the district event manager may decide on a different day in case of difficulty due to large number of participations.
Minimum number for choir will be 16 and maximum 20.
Each choir is to present a song of their choice (Cover/original) in English.
The grand finale will be held on October 23 at RCEMPA Jotsoma.
All must have a standard uniform.
Choirs are to submit their names to their respective district event managers on or before September 20.
Any interested choir and rock band may contact the event managers in the respective districts.
