Dimapur, April 15 (MExN): The 150th birth anniversary celebrations of Rabindranath Tagore will be celebrated in the state on May 27 and 28, at Dimapur and June 4, at Kohima. While paying tribute to the noted literateur and nobel peace prize winner on his 150th birth anniversary, several activities such as poetry competition, drawing competition, choir competition, extempore competition, cultural competition, essay competition, documentaries & workshops, cultural performances, ‘Rabindra Sangeet’, etc. will be included in the 3-day celebration. Entry forms for the poetry competition are available at any Dimensions Centre or can be downloaded from www.dier.in from April 18 onwards. The event is being organised by the United Tribal Society.
