Tuli, September 1 (DIPR): A joint meeting of the District Administration of Tuli Sub-Division, police and Tuli Area Joint Council Forum (TAJCF) was held at ADC Tuli residence on August 31 in view of the proposed agitation by the TAJCF. The meeting was chaired by ADC Tuli. During the meeting, the TAJCF communicated to the District Administration that in view of the joint meeting held between the Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung, Senior Superintendent of police Mokokchung and TAJCF on August 30 at Tuli and subsequent letter received from the Secretary Industries and Commerce, Nagaland Ref NO. IDB/PPC/11-1/2007 (vol-1) dated August 31, 2016, the TAJCF has decided to temporarily suspend the proposed agitation.
However, the TAJCF decided that the State Government should wholeheartedly take up the revival of Nagaland Paper and Pulp Corporation (NPPC) at the earliest with the Central Govt. for the benefit of the people.
