Phek, September 19 (MExN): The Career Guidance and Counselling Cell of Phek Government College in partnership with Mahendra’s Education Pvt. Ltd conducted a talk on career guidance with the B.A. and B.Sc. 5th semester students on September 19.
The programme was chaired by Shurhonuo Tsurho, Assistant Professor while the welcome note was addressed by PGC Principal, Dr T Tiakaba Jamir.
The resource person, a representative of the Mahendra’s Education Pvt. Ltd gave a brief orientation on the syllabus for state and other competitive examinations along with some useful tips on how to prepare and provided suggested sources for examinations. He also highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship and the various scopes that are available in the state such as agricultural, manufacturing and service sectors in the form of tourism and aviation industry. He concluded by encouraging the students to work with an attitude of serving the society.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by the PGCSU General Secretary, Rajan Sha. The college signed an MoU with the institute for future ventures and collaboration.
