Dimapur, April 10 (MExN): A book titled ‘Tanela Teremsep’ (translated as ‘Do not quench the Spirit’), was released by Rev I Wati, senior pastor, Dimapur Ao Baptist Church (DABA) at Zuin Ki, Duncan Basti on April 10.
The book is co-authored by Matsung Longkumer, Jongshimanen and Dr Menjiwapong Jamir.
In the author’s note, Dr Menjiwapong Jamir cautioned the gathering that there are “many teachers in this world but the truest teacher is the Holy Spirit,” and to be aware of “wrong teachings.” Jamir maintained that the book was a step towards keeping the spirit burning and said, “It is with the presence of Holy Spirit, one will more gain knowledge and understanding regarding the book.”
In a short message, Sentila shared her “vision” to the three authors on writing the book. Earlier, the programme was chaired by Wapongtoshi, dedicatory prayer for the book was offered by Dimapur Area Ao Baptist Arogo Pastor Union, president, Temsu, and vote of thanks by Matsung Longkumer.
