Kohima, January 27 (DIPR): Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Rovilato Mor on January 27, inaugurated South Point Terminal (Taxi Counter) at Khuzama Village near police check gate.
In a simple junction held at the new site, Rovilato said he is happy to inaugurate a taxi counter near the inter state boundary and called upon the village leaders and ANTA members to play important roles and responsibilities in maintaining and running the booth which will reflect the image of the village and the State. He also adviced the organizing committee to submit a representation addressed to the Regional Transport Officer, so that the Department will issue/give proper guidelines & regulations. He also said that through this project villagers will generate more income provided proper developments like hotels, proper toilets, rest houses, waiting sheds are taken up. He also said that Khuzama village is the village gate of the State.
The programme was claimed by Vimeziho, President KYO, Vizosul, President KMC. Special songs were presented by Tsaholw group and short speech was given by ADC planning & Co-ordination, Ketoho Luho.
