Kisama, November 15 (MExN): The Birds and Bees Talk (TBBT) announced a “landmark event” to take place on December 2 from 4:00 pm onwards at Imagiland, Kisama, as part of the iconic Hornbill Festival. This “unique event” promises an inspiring blend of music, culture, and meaningful conversations designed to empower youth and celebrate creativity, stated a press release received here . The event is organised by Inc Infinity Inc, a premier music record label from Nagaland.
Some of the notable artists are DJ Dylan from Mumbai and Moko Koza, Nagaland’s rap star, followed by Keneisenuo, Eva Rongmei, Nikato Tamang, DJ Sanaa, DJ CJ, Rovi + Coffee and Anyam the illusionist.
This event is more than just entertainment—it embodies TBBT’s mission to empower adolescents through its five key pillars: consent, inclusion, equity, awareness, and protection. These foundational principles guide the program in addressing critical aspects of mental, physical, and sexual health.
TBBT fosters respect for personal boundaries and informed decision-making through consent, champions acceptance and support for diverse identities through inclusion, ensures fair access to resources through equity, encourages open discussions about mental health, sexual well-being, and healthy relationships through awareness, and provides adolescents with the knowledge and tools to stay safe and secure through protection.
Set against the backdrop of the Hornbill Festival, this event aims to inspire open conversations and empower young people with critical knowledge and life skills. Through a powerful combination of live performances, interactive sessions, and thought-provoking content, TBBT seeks to break stigmas and foster a generation of confident, responsible, and inclusive individuals.
Families, adolescents, and festival-goers are invited to join the event at Imagiland, Kisama. With Moko Koza and a stellar lineup of artists, the event promises to captivate audiences and deliver a message of hope, empowerment, and unity.
TBBT, powered by Reckitt’s Durex, is an innovative life skills program designed to empower adolescents aged 10 to 19 years. Built on the pillars of Consent, Inclusion, Equity, Awareness, and Protection, the programme promotes healthy behaviors, informed decision-making, and mutual respect.
