In the second encounter, second-placed SoyemSangya FC and third-placed Naga Brothers played out a high-intensity 1-1 draw in one of the most entertaining matches of the league so far. Naga, coming off a resounding 7-1 victory over Rise of Strangers, drew first blood through in-form forward Bichemli in the 17th minute, who lobbed a brilliant volley over the SoyemSangya keeper.

Naga controlled much of the first half but failed to extend their advantage. SoyemSangya regrouped after the break, introducing key players who steadied the midfield and defence. The equaliser came through a moment of brilliance from left-back M. Chuba, who surged down the wing, beat two defenders, and fired a powerful shot into the top corner in the 64th minute.
