‘Tea tribes for holistic transformation in NE India’

Christian leaders from tea tribes’ community trained on discipleship
Dimapur, November 3 (MExN): A 70 member Christian leaders from the tea tribes’ community belonging to Assam Valley Baptist Mission representing 54 churches have been trained on discipleship at Dimapur from November 1 to 3 under the theme ‘Tea tribes for holistic transformation in North East India.’
This programme was jointly organized by Northeast Alliance for Leadership Education and Social Transformation (NEALEAST) and Assam Valley Baptist Mission (AVBM). The training was coordinated by President of Assam Valley Baptist Mission and held at Youth Oasis Centre, Dimapur.
On the inaugural session, on November 1, Rev Dr Takatemjen, Founder-President of NEALEAST delivered the keynote while Assam Valley Baptist Mission President Er Temsu Wathi welcomed the gathering.
The resource persons were Rev Dr Rabi Pame, Founder-Director from Blessing Ministry (Dimapur); Rev Dr Toshi Langu, Founder Director, Frontline Ministries, Tzürang Ajen Valley Mokokchung and Rev Dr Takatemjen, Founder-President NEALEAST.
During the valedictory service, completion certificates were awarded to all the participants of the training programme.
