
Kohima, November 13 (MExN): The teacher trainees of St Paul Institute of Education, Phesama spent a day with the children of Eden Gardens, Khuzama. The trainees conducted various games and songs for the children, more than 180 of them.
As part of the training, the trainees interacted with the less privileged children of the orphanage, informed a press release received here. “It was a transforming experience for them. It was an occasion for them to test their skills with those children,” it added.
The director of Eden Gardens, Rev. Fr. Raymond D Souza SJ briefed the trainees about the inception of Eden Gardens. They were also briefed about its function and the way it looks after the students. The trainees were accompanied by the Principal, Vice Principal, and the staff.
