Vesekho Khesoh
At this juncture when few PSTE candidates were demanding for their selfish ends, I would like to convey my congratulation to the School Education Department and the District Recruitment Interview Boards for the fair conduct of Teacher’s Recruitment Exam.
Going through the local dailies, my attention was drawn due to the writings of some few selfish PSTE candidates who are parasites to the society without acknowledging the hard earned results of the selected candidates of the said exam.
But, let me ask you something. Aren’t you all in the competitive world? Don’t you know that there are more than 20,000 (Roughly) highly educated unemployed in the state? Don’t you see your other PSTE candidates performing well? Do you think acquiring a PSTE degree guaranteed you to be a teacher without quality? Seeing is believing! Right? So, I’ve seen many College dropouts (not referring to everybody) take teacher’s training as an option to their study. The concern department has given special preference to PSTE candidates as clarified in Nagaland Post dated May 22, 2012 (Please refer). It is a known fact that many highly qualified youths who were preparing for the NPSC exam took this as an opportunity and availed it. Should all the jobs belong only to one who got training from the DIET? For your information, being educated from an army school doesn’t make you an army. You (Some) called some people ignorant, untrained but remember, there are many candidates who acquired high degrees such as M.A., M.Sc., M.Com., private teaching experience etc, who has requisite qualifications to teach with utmost sincerity. Therefore I advise not boast of your two years span of degree. You called DIET have no value. I feel, before that, you should call yourself without value because there are many from the DIET who got selected. From your write up review, I was shocked to find that you seek 90% reservation for the recruitment or questions be set from your syllabus. Is the School Education yours that you demand with such an attitude? Isn’t it a shame when you asked for it? You want to teach the children of tomorrow; told you are trained; seek preference and played with the government. Let us be precise, why are you incompetent after all the preference given to you if you want to build the future of Nagas? Why now creating this menace?
It is provocative and uncalled for to see the press release of ANPSTA who directed the School Education Department to recall/revoke the legally declared results. The candidates had gone through a long process of waiting for this opportunity; through all the formalities; spending time, sweat, energy, money etc. We cannot keep on suffering and sacrifice our future because of some self vested individuals. Keeping in mind that I have done my best to reap this harvest, it is infuriating when someone tries to snatch my hard earned job, my right and my future. I hope all the successful candidates will agree with me. Please don’t play with the careers of thousands that got recruited recently. Instead be more realistic and survive in this competing scenario.
Lastly, congratulations to fellow comrades for your success. Also, it is my humble request that the School Education Department will kindly dispatch the appointment orders at the earliest so as to accommodate the candidates and the schools at the right time.
