In the Rock Band competition, Nagaland team secured the 3rd position at the 7th Northeast Youth Festival held in Agartala, Tripura.
Dimapur, March 4 (MExN): Nagaland State made a significant impact at the 7th Northeast Youth Festival held in Agartala, Tripura, with a delegation of 65 youth representing the state, led by Chubarenla Longchari, District Youth & Resource Officer (DYRO), as the Team Manager and assisted by N Bijim, PIS.
A press release received here stated that during the 7th Northeast Youth Festival held from February 26 to 29, the Nagaland contingent excelled in four key events, securing top positions in two categories. In the Guitar Instrumental competition, Zayiechütuo Suohu claimed the 1st place. In the Clay Modeling competition, Neivito Vitsu clinched the 1st position with a masterpiece crafted from clay. Rahul Alam from Nagaland also showcased his painting skills, securing the 3rd position in the Painting competition. In the Rock Band competition, Nagaland team secured the 3rd position. The rock band members consisted of Vareishim Lungleng Shongzan, Imliakum Jamir, Thüjongoyi Vero, Imsülong Longkumer, Chumlanthung Ngullie, Nanmila Zimik, Limayala Aier.
Aside from the various competitive events, NSS volunteers from various colleges attended the NSS Suvichar where various topics such as VIKSIT Bharat, Personality Development, Youth Employability etc. were shared by various renowned speakers.
