Winners of Team Nagaland at 3rd National Arm-Wrestling Championship
Kohima, May 22 (MExN): Team Nagaland comprising of eight athletes won 14 medals at the 3rd National Arm-Wrestling Championships held on May 18 to 21 at Bengaluru, Karnataka.
According to Arm Wrestling Association of Nagaland (AWAN), the winners from Nagaland included; Vethozo Lohe – 4 Gold (youth left & right hands) and 78 Kg senior (left & right hands), Neli Dominic – 2 Gold (63 kg, senior) left and right hands, Avilie Zuyie – 1 Gold (86 kg, youth) right hand, 1 silver (left hand), Zizi Mongzar – 2 silver (63kg, youth) left and right hands, Abhishek Pradhan – 1 Gold (youth open weight category), Thangboilal Saum – 1 bronze (78 kg, junior) left hand, Kuvemuri Ringa – 1 bronze (70 kg, senior) left hand and George Mero – 1 silver (63 kg, junior) left hand.
The championship was conducted under the aegis of Board of Control for Armwrestling India and hosted by Karnataka State Arm Wrestling Association.
