Dimapur, September 14 (MExN): Team Strike-Fit Academy Nagaland made a strong impression at the 2nd Northeast Mix Boxing Championship held in Sonari, Assam on September 13–14, 2025, finishing as runners-up team champions among competitors from across the region.
According to the team, the fighters displayed exceptional skill, discipline and determination, securing a total of nine gold medals and two silver medals for Nagaland.
The gold medalists were Shayon Das (48 kg), Maongtemjen Imsong (52 kg), Aputo Zhimom (52 kg, Pro), Huka Ayemi (54 kg), Hisato Ayemi (57 kg, Pro), Niuka Chophi (63.5 kg), Vihuto Sema (67 kg, Pro), Changsang Lemba (70 kg) and Phongmei Phom (75 kg).
The silver medalists were Ikamu H. Achumi (45 kg, 15 yrs) and Pikato V. Awomi (54 kg, 17 yrs).
The team was led by Coach Hemavi and Team Manager Moakumzük Longchar.
