Kohima, October 28 (MExN): The joint inspection of two-lane mega project from Kohima-Jessami was carried out by Chakhesang Youth Front, Chakhesang Students’ Union and CPO Two-Lane Committee (Kohima-Jessami) on October 28.
The inspection team while interacting with the implementing agencies stressed upon the quality of work, timely completion of the mega project and other relevant issues, stated an update jointly issued by Lhuvesayi Lohe, president CYF, Vetho Vadeo, president CSU and Welete Kapfo, co-convenor CPO Two-Lane Committee (Kohima-Jessami).
The joint inspection team also reiterated its earlier stand on “illegal taxation” that, no any sort of illegal taxation by an individuals or groups shall be entertained which will hamper the progress and development of the project in particular and public in general.
The inspection team also appealed to the land owners not to obstruct the work or lodge complaints when they are duly compensated and also demolish the structures for smooth sailing of the mega project.
Reminding the standing resolution of the Chakhesang Public Organisation, any genuine complaint or grievances must be rooted through Village Council Chairman or Colony/Ward Chairman within the stipulated period, it stated.
Later during the day, a coordination meeting with 11 ward chairman, GBs and Pfutsero Town Welfare Forum was held at Pfutsero Town Council Hall and discussed series of issues.
The team conveyed its support and cooperation to the house for expeditious commencement of work for the welfare of the public by and large.
