Dimapur, December 7 (MExN): The annual national level technical festival, TechAura 2020 a three day event began on December 7 under the theme “Ameliorate” to promote technical consciousness in the minds of the young generation. In a first of its kind, this year because of the pandemic the event could not be held as intended but not letting what cannot be undone affect the technical festival the organising team took up the challenge befitting to the theme in organising the event.
Special invitee, Temjen Imna Along, Minister for Higher and Technical Education and Tribal Affairs, Government of Nagaland in his speech thanked the organizers for their zeal and for their foresightedness into the future by organising this virtual event.
He mentioned that in these changing times we have to be ready for what the eventuality is, we need to think differently and develop new skill sets that are required in this changing technological world. He concluded his speech by encouraging the students to make the best use of the technology and wished the students a great success. Prof Sapu Changkija, Dean, NU-SET, in his speech encouraged the students to step up and come up with innovative ideas and inventions. He further encouraged the students to chase their dreams and work hard to achieve their dreams to not only benefit themselves but the nation and world as well.
