Tening Block Task Force holds Mithun Mela

Tening, February 20 (MExN): The district administration of Peren in collaboration with ICAR-NRC organized Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) cum Mithun Mela under Tening Block Task Force at Tening village Panchayat hall on February 19.

ADC Tening, Rhosietho Nguori emphasized on the importance of BBBP and upliftment of women through participation. EAC Tening, Tumben P Tsanglao while addressing the gathering urged the Village Health and Sanitation Committee (VHSNC) and Village Education Committee (VEC) to participate actively and achieve the targets in order to enhance female enrolment ratio in schools and maintain efficiency in monitoring women’s health.

The programme was attended by representatives from Tening, Nzau and Nsong with womenfolk and Block Task Force.
