Tening Town Council mandates dog registration to curb rabies

Tening, April 10 (MExN): In a step to ensure public health and safety, the Tening Town Council has made registration of all domestic dogs mandatory within its jurisdiction.

A DIPR update stated that the initiative aims to create a rabies-free environment and maintain an accurate census of the canine population for better municipal planning and management. According to the order, all dog owners must register their pets within the stipulated period. The council said registration would enable authorities to monitor vaccination status and take preventive measures against the spread of rabies. Registration forms are available at the Town Council office during working hours, and residents have been urged to comply promptly in the interest of public health and community welfare.
