Tening, June 23 (MExN): Tening Town Youth Organisation was inaugurated its office at Tening town on June 20 last. The programme was graced by Er Volie Rentta, SDO PHED, Tening as a special guest. As per the DIPR report, the programme was attended by ADC Tening and Chairperson, Tening Town Council, Lunchui along with other town stakeholders.
Er Volie Rentta, SDO PHED, Tening in his address emphasised the importance of youth being innovative, creative, and committed to promoting peace and unity in the town. He stated that the newly established youth office will serve as a hub of creativity and leadership, developing responsible youth who will work with all stakeholders to make Tening Town a more beautiful place.
Chairperson of Tening Town Council, Lungchui quoted, “When money is lost, nothing is lost; when health is lost, something is lost; when character is lost, everything is lost.” He exhorted the youth, stating that now is the best time for them to serve the society because they are both physically and mentally active. He encouraged the youth to confront the town's challenges by supporting one another and cultivating unity among themselves in order to achieve greater success in the coming days.
In his welcome address, TTYO, Joint Secretary, Ekero, thanked the Tening Town Council for donating the Office Building room. He expressed gratitude for the daily office transactions advocating for the eradication of anti-social behaviour and the promotion of unity among the youths of the town.
Wiridinbo Ngamta, General Secretary TTYO, chaired the programme, and Samwang, Pastor Zeme Baptist Church, Tening Town, offered the opening prayer.
