Kohima, January 31 (MExN): A meeting of the Tenyimi Peoples’ Organisation’s (TPO) executive council was held on January 24 at its President's residence. The meeting deliberated on the Board of Arbitrators (BOA) vis-à-vis Kezoltsa/ Kozürü/ Kazing dispute. Against the backdrop of expiry of the deadline for the BOA to resolve the dispute, the executive council viewed that although the BOA has been taking up the issue with all seriousness and sincerity the pace towards resolution of the matter encountered certain setbacks owing to unforeseen circumstances and situation, informed a release from Timikha Koza, President and Vipopal Kintso, General Secretary of TPO. Therefore, the meeting felt it necessary to extend the timeframe for another 6 months, which shall be placed for endorsement in the Presidential Council Meeting, which will be held on February 11 at Senapati. TPO called for attendance of at least 5 members from each constituent unit. It further decided to take up the issue of Dikoi and Tolazouma village with concerned authority(s), tribe hohos and organizations so as to bring it to an amicable logical conclusion.
