Tseminyu, Febryary 21 (MExN): The Terogvunyu village community hall was inaugurated by Zhaleo Rio,  IAS (Retd.), MLA and Advisor, Urban Development and Municipal Affairs Department, Government of Nagaland as special guest and Ar Jwenga Seb, MLA and Chairman, DPDP Tseminyu as guest of honour on February 19. 

The community hall was built under the MGNREGA (Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Gaurantee Scheme) Tseminyu RD Block which was supported by the villagers. 

Speaking on the occasion, Zhaleo Rio congratulated Terogvunyu Village Council for completing the building with all modern facilities through community support and participation.  He also lauded the RD Department for the appropriate help extended and encouraged other villages to follow in the footstep and make government projects successsful. 

Jwenga Seb urged upon the gathering to co-operate with the government in matters of development  to uplift the status of  not only Tseminyu district but Nagaland as a whole.   

Sentsing Tep, Pastor, Terogvunyu Baptist Church invoked God’s grace in the program while Eno. Shwenilo Semp (VCM) welcomed the gathering and Zenhilo Semp, VDB Secretary, presented the report on the building construction. Keziah Semy enthralled the gathering with her melodious voice while Eno. Sunyü Semp, Head GB, proposed the vote of thanks. A host of other dignitaries also spoke on the occasion which included Celine Thol, BDO Tseminyu Block, Jenny Kath, Deputy Director, DRD Kohima, Benjamin Lorin, VP NDPP Nagaland, and Rohit Singh (IAS), DC Tseminyu. The programme was chaired by Daniel Tep , Chairman, Terogvunyu Village Council and culminated with a community feast.
