Mokokchung, July 3 (MExN): A book titled Teronem Taku (The Bitter Scent) authored by T Senka Ao was released today at Ongpangkong Watsü Mungdang office. During the book release, the author encouraged the mothers to teach their children the importance of one's mother tongue. He also urged the youth to write books in their own mother tongue saying that one's socio-cultural and traditional aspects "circle around one’s language." The book is reported to be sold exclusively by Ongpangkong Watsü Mungdang. The book was published by Tribal Development and Communication Centre Mokokchung with an ISBN-978-93-81662-25-0.
