Tethuyo VDB under Longmatra RD Block was awarded the Best Functioning VDB in terms of implementation of schemes for the year 2016-2017 by the department of Department of Rural Development Agency (DRDA) Kiphire. The felicitation programme was held on April 28 at Tethuyo Village.
Speaking at the felicitation programme, Satsathong Project Director DRDA, Kiphire urged upon the gathering to judiciously utilize government funds for the development of the village.
Welcoming the DRDA officials and gathering, Thsipongju VCC Tethuyo Village expressed appreciation towards the DRDA department for choosing Tethuyo village VBD as the best.
Special song was presented by Tehuyo Youth, while the programme was chaired by Langshing, BDO Longmatra Block.
