The new ‘English Language Proficiency’ certificate course is specifically designed working professionals who wish to improve their communication skills. The 30 hour intensive course, starting from 20th March, will focus on the communication skills of the participants through mock interviews and power-point presentations to train them to speak in impeccable English, and help improve their grammar. This new course is being launched in addition to the certificate course for students which will begin in April. The course instructors include Kahor Raleng (HoD, Dept of English), a linguistics specialist from NEHU; Anjan Behera (Course Coordinator) who has specialized in Communication Studies from Christ University; and Veduvolu Khusoh, an alumni of EFL University, who has previously worked in the Republic of Columbia as a communication skills instructor.
