Tetso College concluded the third cycle of National Assessment and Accreditation Council Peer Team visit on November 20 and 21.
Dimapur, November 21 (MExN): Tetso College concluded the third cycle of National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) Peer Team visit on November 20 and 21.
The NAAC Peer Team for the visit comprised of members Prof Shrivardhan Pathak, Chairperson, DDU Gorakhpur University, Uttar Pradesh; Prof. Pushpinder Singh Gill, Member Coordinator, Dean at Punjabi University, Patiala, Punjab; and Dr. Muhamed Ilyas (Member), Principal of Sullamussalam Science College, Kerala, stated a press release from Tetso College.
The two-day visit evaluated the College's academic framework, governance, infrastructure, and extracurricular initiatives.
Presentations were given by Principal, Dr Hewasa L Khing and IQAC Coordinator, Dr Anjan K Behera, Department interactions, campus tours, cultural program, and discussions with various stakeholders, including students, faculty & staff, alumni, parents and members of the Governing Board.
On the first day, a ceremonial watering of the tree and welcome programme was held at Lorin Hall, Tetso College followed by department presentations, stakeholder interactions, and campus tour.
Department of Linguistics also released its eBook titled Words and Beyond: A Multidisciplinary Exploration of Northeastern Indian Languages (ISBN: 978-93-340-1480-8) available for download at tetsocollege.org/downloads/ebooks/.
The NAAC Peer Team members also interacted with parents, alumni, staff and students
The Activities on the second day included a tour of the Tenyiphe campus, interaction and comprehensive discussion with Principal and the IQAC Coordinator.
As part of the visit, the Peer Team reviewed documentation to ensure a thorough and transparent evaluation process is maintained.
The visit culminated with the Exit Meeting in which the Chairperson of the NAAC Peer Team, Prof. Shrivardhan Pathak addressed the staff of Tetso College.
