Dimapur, July 1 (MExN): The Global Open University Nagaland (TGOUN) held its Academic Council Meeting on June 29 at the university campus in Dimapur.
Members of the council deliberated on the progress and development of the academic issues regarding the university, informed a press release from TGOUN Public Relations Officer Nchum Ovung. The council also discussed on the implementation of new programs in the university.
They further recommended introduction of new courses such as B. Voc, M. Voc in the field of geriatric care, yoga, naturopathy, retail management, tourism, food processing, carpentry/ mechanical tools, integrated LLB, B.Ed and Acupuncture soon. The council also thoroughly looked at the avenue to improvise the current academic programs, the release added.
The meeting was chaired by Dr. HN Dutta, Vice Chancellor, TGOUN.
