Dimapur, July 22 (MExN): The new church building of Thahekhu Village Block 7 Baptist Fellowship Church was inaugurated and dedicated by Rev. Dr. Hevukhu Achumi, Executive Secretary, WSBAK on July 22 morning.
Speaking on the occasion, Rev. Hevukhu quoted Psalms 100 and stated that he who worships him in his holiness and faithfulness will be blessed. Quoting Mathew 21:13, the speaker further urged upon the congregation to keep the church holy and maintain it as a house of prayer.
Hukiye Yeputho, Head GB, Thahekhu village greeted the congregation on the occasion and lauded the residents of Thahekhu Block 7 on the successful completion of the church building. Tovishe Achumi, pastor, Thahekhu Village Baptist Church pronounced a prayer for the church. Kitoho S. Rotokha, chairman of the construction committee presented a brief report on construction of the building.
Pastor of the church, Kuhoi Chishi honoured the dignitaries present at the inauguration. Niloto Yeptho, Associate Pastor (youth) read a scripture from the Bible, while Ghotovi Shohe, former pastor said the invocation prayer. Sunday School department presented inaugural act.
