Thanksgiving held in honour of NDPP candidate elect

The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) candidate elect Khrielievi Chiisi from Ward 17 Kohima (Agri Farm, Upper Agri, Electrical, Mewibogei & Forest Colony), has been felicitated today in the presence of Nagaland’s Women Resource Development & Horticulture Minister Salhoutuonuo Kruse.

Addressing  the programme at Auditorium, Stella Higher Secondary School, Kohima, Kruse was optimistic that Chiisi will put his best effort to uplift the colony.

Describing candidate elect as a as highly capable, energetic, broadminded and trustworthy person, the minister expressed hope that he would translate his election manifesto and vision into a reality for common good.

She also called upon the denizens of Ward 17 to extend their support to the later and collectively work for holistic development of the colony.

Further, Kruse stressed on the need to focus on sanitation, foot step, approach road and also find ways and means to solve the parking problem.

“This is my humble beginning,” said Chiisi, seeking  the support of the public.

Reiterating his vision to transform the colony, he called upon the residents to come forward with open mind, good understanding and positive attitude to take the colony forward.

Akum Jamir, Nitoshe Sheqi, Khrienuo Solo, Nchumbemo Lotha, Nyamnyei Konyak and Tongmong Khiamniungan also spoke at the programme.

Moka Koza, Achet Jamir and Keneisenuo Sorhie presented special songs.

Rev. Vicavor Krose, Pastor, Mezoma Baptist Church pronounced dedicatory prayer while Renthungo Kikon, Pastor Lotha Baptist Church invoked God's blessings.

The programme was chaired by Neidilhoutuo Sechu while vote of thanks was proposed by TS Lotha, Convenor, Core Committee ULB  Election 2024.
